Eating healthy on the hCG diet can be a lot more fun than it sounds. We recently started posting helpful tips to our Instagram page, @EQBalance, where we share food tips, exercise tips, and testimonials from some of our past clients. A “diet” doesn’t necessarily mean salads, fruits and vegetables for every meal.

If you’re craving a taco, try this recipe that counts as 1 protein serving AND 1 vegetable serving:‬
‪- 100 grans lean ground beef‬
‪- 2 tbsp diced onion‬
‪- 2 tsp ground cumin‬
‪- 2 tsp chopped green onion

‪- 1 tsp chicken buillon‬
‪- 1-2 tsps chili powder‬
‪- salt & pepper‬
‪- lettuce leaves, washed

‪- handful of cilantro, roughly chopped‬

‪ ‬
‪In a pan, combine ground beef and onion. Cook until meat is brown. Add all spices. Serve in lettuce leaves and top with cilantro.‬

If you have a big sweet tooth, enjoy these chocolate almond cookies!
In a food processor:
1 1/4 c natural almond butter (NO other ingredients!)
2 teaspoon unsweetened vanilla
1/4 c stevia
1 teaspoon baking soda
A pinch of salt
Blend until smooth. Add and mix:
1/2 c unsweetened carob chips
Drop on parchment lined sheet in balls. I used a scoop.
Bake in preheated oven 350° for 10-15 min.
These don’t set up like normal cookies so don’t expect them to.
They’ll also be soft when you take them out but are fully cooked and ready to eat after cooling.
